Little ImprintsParent interest list open

A baby's first marks, kept forever.

For parents of babies: the phone acts as an ink pad. In the native app, a baby presses a hand or foot to the screen and the app renders a realistic ink or paint print at true real-world size, kept in a Keepsake Book — shareable, printable at true size, with a growth timeline at true scale. Little Imprints was built for the founder’s own family first.

How it works

  1. Set up your baby’s profile once — name and birthdate, with a switcher for siblings
  2. Pick hand or foot, a color, Ink or Paint material, and a paper color
  3. In the native app, a baby presses a hand or foot to the screen — the phone acts as the ink pad. (On this web companion, by contrast, a press is a labeled simulation — see below.)
  4. The print renders with real ink character, at true real-world size — keep it, try again, or adjust it
  5. Decorate around the print without changing the print itself — stamps, frames, and name and caption text with a date and age suggestion
  6. Keep it in the Keepsake Book, watch the growth timeline fill at true scale, and export it or print it at 100% scale

True size, kept in the Keepsake Book

A print is kept at the size the hand or foot actually is — not shrunk to fit a card, and not enlarged for effect. In the Keepsake Book, each kept print carries its date, the child’s computed age, its size, and a note.

The growth timeline shows kept prints at true relative scale, with a then-vs-now overlay — so the change from the first print to the latest is the real change, shown at real scale.

How a print is made — in the native app

A child profile comes first — name and birthdate, with a switcher for siblings. Then hand or foot, a color, Ink or Paint material, and a paper color, with a press-and-hold practice pad before a print is kept.

The render aims for real ink character: a center-dark falloff, grain, a pooling rim, voids where contact was light, and a directional smudge where a press moved.

This web companion is a simulation — labeled plainly

This page presents the product and its web companion. The companion’s capture is a SIMULATION: on the web, the size, duration, and movement of a press shape the print that is rendered. It is not a scan of a real hand or foot, and it is never claimed as one — anywhere the companion’s capture is described, it is described as a simulation.

The real product is the native iOS app, where a real press on the phone’s screen is the capture. That real touch capture remains the product’s definition.

Honesty rides on every print’s own page in the build: a digit-fill disclosure travels with the print, and a “Pure contact — no touch-ups” toggle shows the print with no touch-ups.

Private by design — no account, no sign-in

Little Imprints has no account and no sign-in. That is the product’s privacy posture — a feature of its design, not a missing step.

The form on this page is this site’s parent interest list, not a product account: it asks only for a name and an email so we can write with news, and joining it creates no Little Imprints account.

Where it stands — the honest state

The native iOS app is already built, and its App Store Connect record has been created — it stands at “Prepare for Submission.” Its remaining App Store steps are the founder’s gated releases, and they have not happened: a submission pack whose screenshots must come from real prints (real prints do not exist yet), a final name decision, a trademark search, and TestFlight confirmation.

The defining quality test is still to come: a real press, by the founder with his baby daughter, is the only test that can prove whether the capture and the render are good enough. No other test substitutes for it, and it has not happened yet.

No price has been set for Little Imprints, and none is shown here. Any price would need the founder’s new ruling. There is no checkout, no plan, and nothing to buy on this page.

Today, this door does one honest thing: it takes the parent interest list. Joining below records a parent’s interest. It does not create an account, it does not enroll a child, and it does not promise a release date.

Join the parent interest list

This is the parent interest list — interest only. Leave your name and email, and we will write to this list when there is news about Little Imprints. This does not create an account — Little Imprints has no account and no sign-in — and it is not a sign-up for a working app, because the native app has not been released.

You are on the parent interest list — thank you. We will write when there is news. No account was created: Little Imprints has no account and no sign-in.
