For Etsy sellers who also sell on Shopify. ReviewPort is an independent concierge service, sold direct — it is not sold through Shopify or Etsy. You export two files from your own accounts; ReviewPort does the matching, dedupe, and cleaning on those files and hands back a ready-to-import file for the review app you already use, such as Judge.me or Loox. No passwords, no store access, ever.
How it works
- Send your Etsy reviews file: in Etsy, go to Shop Manager → Settings → Options, open the Download Data tab, and click Download Your Reviews — you will get a file called reviews.json
- Send your Shopify products file: in your Shopify admin, go to Products → Export, choose All products and the CSV format, and export
- ReviewPort runs the match and sends you a plain report: how many reviews were placed and where, which ones need your eyes, and what would have gone wrong in a normal import
- Preview together (about 30 minutes): you see exactly where every review will land and approve it — nothing is imported before you approve
- You receive your clean import file, formatted for the review app you already use, and upload it while we stay with you
- Placement is verified together on three products: counts match the preview, photos are on the reviews that had them, star-only reviews are present, names match, and there are no duplicates
Price: Free scan · Starter $19/mo · Pro $29/mo (Starter covers up to 1,000 reviews with manual re-sync. Pro covers up to 10,000 reviews with auto-sync and includes the concierge first import. Beta members get Pro free for 6 months when paid plans open.)
What breaks in a normal import
These are the failures sellers report after importing Etsy reviews into their own store. ReviewPort is built to catch every one of them before anything is imported:
- Duplicates: most importers do not fingerprint reviews, so importing twice doubles every review
- SKU-only matching: if your Etsy variations do not carry the exact same SKUs as your Shopify variants, reviews land on the wrong product — or nowhere
- Photos dropped: photo reviews arrive as text only, or do not arrive at all
- Rating-only reviews dropped: star-only reviews with no written text are silently skipped by some importers
- Names scrambled: reviewer names that do not match the actual reviews underneath them
- Everything dumped as store reviews: unassigned imports lose the connection to the product each review was about
The beta
We are taking 5 beta sellers, free: the import is free and done with you, and beta members get ReviewPort Pro free for 6 months when paid plans open.
In exchange, we ask three things: use your real files, give honest feedback, and — only if it works for you — let us tell your result as a short case study on this site, in words you approve first.
Honest rules
- Reviewer emails are never invented. Where an email cannot be sourced from your Etsy export or your own Shopify records, that review is flagged for you — never padded with a made-up address
- Nothing is imported before you approve the preview, product by product
- If an import lands wrong, it rolls back and we redo it. Your original files are untouched throughout
- ReviewPort is an independent service. It is not part of Shopify or Etsy, and no platform permission or app-store listing is involved
